The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification for CTET December 2024. Candidates can fill the application form till 16 October 2024. Important Information for CTET December 2024
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has rescheduled the CTET December 2024 exam, which was earlier scheduled to be held on 01 December 2024, to 15 December 2024 (Sunday) due to administrative reasons. If the number of candidates is high in some cities, the exam may also be held on 14 December 2024. The online application process has started from 17 September 2024, and the last date to apply is 16 October 2024 (11:59 PM). Other guidelines are given in the information bulletin as before. The age of the candidates applying for the CTET December 2024 exam will be as per the rules of CBSE. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website ctet.nic.in.

Exam Date and Schedule for CTET December 2024
The CTET December 2024 exam will take place on 15 December 2024. Paper-II (TGT) will be conducted in the morning session from 09:30 am to 12:00 noon, while Paper-I (PRT) will be held in the afternoon session from 02:30 pm to 05:00 pm.

Application Fee for CTET December 2024
The application fee for CTET is ₹1000/- for only Paper-I or II and ₹1200/- for both papers for General and OBC (NCL) category candidates. Whereas, for SC, ST and PWD candidates, this fee is ₹500/- for only one paper and ₹600/- for both papers. Candidates can pay their fee through online mode, such as debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, or cash card/mobile wallet.

Eligibility Criteria for CTET December 2024
The CTET exam is conducted for two levels:
- Primary Teacher (PRT) - Level 1 (Classes I-V): Candidates must have passed 12th along with D.Ed./JBT/B.El.Ed./B.Ed.
- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) - Level 2 (Classes VI-VIII): Candidates must possess a Graduation degree along with B.Ed./B.El.Ed.
