To secure admission in the program, candidates must participate in the Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET-2024) and the Pre-BA B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed., adhering to the regulations set forth by the University, State Government, and the National Teacher Education Council. The University is inviting online applications from eligible individuals for the 2024 Test.

Eligibility / Educational Qualification for Rajasthan PTET 2024:
Pre Teacher Education Test (2 Year Course):
Applicants need to possess a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in the Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree examination from any State University or any other University acknowledged as equivalent, meeting the other prerequisites for admission to the B.Ed. course. However, candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, MBC, as well as physically challenged, and Widow or Divorced women categories in Rajasthan, must have at least 45% marks in the aggregate in the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level examination.
Candidates who have completed Graduation through a Correspondence Course from any University, having taken only one University Examination (One/Single sitting), even if they obtained a PG degree based on this qualification, are ineligible for the PTET. Additionally, candidates who have not followed the 10+2+3 scheme or 10+1+3 (old scheme) are also not qualified to appear in the PTET.
Aspiring candidates who are in the process of completing the qualifying examination, i.e., B.A. / B.Com. / B.Sc. / Shastri Final year and / or M.A./ M.Com. / M.Sc / Acharya Final year, are eligible to apply and appear in the PTET 2024.
Pre B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. Test (4 Year Course):
Candidates must secure at least 50% marks in the aggregate in the Senior Secondary examination of the Sec. Board of education, Rajasthan Ajmer, or any other recognized Board considered equivalent (Equivalence certificate should be provided by the candidate). This is a prerequisite for admission to the 4 years B.A. B.Ed./ B.Sc.B.Ed. course. It is specified that candidates belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribes, other backward classes, Most backward classes, as well as physically challenged, widow, or divorced women categories of Rajasthan, need to have at least 45% marks in aggregate in the Senior Secondary examination to be eligible for admission. Only Senior Secondary Examination passed or appearing in the science faculty is eligible for admission to the 4 years B.Sc. B.Ed. course.
Candidates in the process of appearing for the qualifying examination, i.e., Senior Secondary examination, are eligible under the condition that they shall have their result up to the last date of online counseling registration. Candidates are required to possess the marks sheets of the qualifying examination with eligibility percentage, and they should have registered online themselves and participated in online counseling.
