Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has invited applications for admission to Class 1 for 2024. The process of online registration for admission has started from 1st April 2024. Interested persons are available to view the notification on the official website of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan at kvsangathan.nic.in.

Important Information KVS Class 1 Admission 2024 :-

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has started the registration process for admission to Class 1 from April 1, 2024, and parents can register their children online till April 15, 2024. Entry timings are from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For admission to Class 2 and onwards, admission can be done through offline mode from April 1 to April 10. Parents can register their children from the nearest e-Mitra centers or by visiting the official website of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, kvsangathan.nic.in.


Age Limit KVS Class 1 Admission 2024 :-


For admission to Class I in Kendriya Vidyalayas, the child's age should be as on 31st March (children born on 1st April should also be taken into account). The minimum and maximum age limits for admission in various classes are as follows:-

Admission Fee KVS Class 1 Admission 2024 :-

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan will not charge any fee from the children admitted under the 25% quota prescribed under the RTE Act 2009 for admission in Class 1. And according to the same Act, children admitted in Class I will have the right to concessions and benefits in their school till Class VIII. Additionally, address certificate of the parents will have to be submitted at the time of registration. And employees eligible for departmental fee refund will not be claimed RTE exemption.

How to apply

    First visit the official website https://kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.

    Click on the link given above to register there.

    Then, going down you will see a checkbox. Click it and proceed.

    A new form will open in front of the candidate, in which the form will be filled in English language.

    First enter the child's name, middle name, and his/her last name, date of birth.

    If the child has a disability, click “Yes” or “No”.

    If the child is an employee of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, then select the option for the same.

    Enter email ID and mobile number.

    At the bottom, enter the captcha code and complete the reservation.

    Then, you will receive a One Time Password (OTP) on your mobile phone. enter the.

    After that, enter the captcha code again and click on “Verify”.

    After registration, take a print out to keep with you or note down this information in a notebook. Children's information like birthday and mobile number will be visible, but the reservation is not complete yet. You will get a login code in this registration form, using which you will have to login. After login, you will see the admission form which needs to be completed.

    After registration, a new form will open which needs to be completed.

    1. Fill the basic information of children.
    2. Give details of parents.
    3. Upload the required documents.
    4. Submit the application form.
    5. Keep the print out safe.
