Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has invited online applications for MP SET Exam 2024, and the online registration process for MP SET will start from 21st March 2024 and candidates can apply till 20 April 2024. This examination will provide eligibility for recruitment of government teachers. Age Limit MP SET 2024 :-
The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has set the age criteria for candidates applying for the MP SET exam 2024, specifying that candidates must be a minimum of 21 years old and must adhere to the maximum age limit as per the rules. Additionally, there will be an age relaxation provided by the state government of Madhya Pradesh.
Educational Qualification MP SET 2024 :-
1. To qualify for postgraduate studies in Indian universities, candidates must have completed their undergraduate or final year of postgraduate studies as per the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
2. General category candidates require a minimum of 55% marks for postgraduate admission, while reserved categories (excluding creamy layer), SC, ST, OBC, and Divyang candidates need at least 50%.
3. EWS category candidates also need a minimum of 55% marks for postgraduate admission, aligning with general category requirements according to UGC guidelines.
4. Candidates in the final year of postgraduate studies can sit for exams even if results are pending.
5. Eligibility certificates for these candidates are valid if they achieve a minimum of 55% marks (general category) or 50% marks (reserved categories and Divyang candidates) within two years of the announcement of results.
6. Ph.D. degree holders completing postgraduate exams by September 19, 1991, receive a 5% relaxation in eligibility criteria.
7. Candidates with foreign qualifications must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, confirming the equivalence of their degree or diploma to an Indian postgraduate degree.

Application Fee MP SET 2024 :-
Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) candidates applying online for MP SET Exam 2024 will have to pay the application fee. And candidates will be required to pay their examination fee through online mode. For this, the following amount has been paid to the candidates depending on their category like -
1. Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, EWS, and Divyansh category candidates native of Madhya Pradesh will have to pay an application fee of Rs 250/-.
2. Other category and other candidates resident outside Madhya Pradesh will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500/-.
3. If any candidate wants to make corrections in his/her application, he/she has to pay Rs.50/-.
4. Candidates applying online with first phase late fee will have to pay Rs 3000/- till the last date and Rs 40/- for portal fee along with application fee of Rs 50/- for correction.
5. Candidates applying online with second phase late fee will have to pay Rs 25000/- till the last date and Rs 40/- for portal fee along with application fee of b for correction.
How to apply
MP SET 2024 - step 1
First, the candidate should visit the official website, and then click on the apply link. Here, you will find the information about the form, such as the application form being displayed at the top. So, click on the action button.
MP SET 2024 - step 2
The candidate will need to complete the form, including providing their name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, and address as specified in the form. Ensure to fill in all the details accurately as provided in the form.
MP SET 2024 - step 3
The candidate has to provide information about his/her 10th and 12th examinations. For 10th exam, they have to select the board, enter their subject choices, total marks obtained, marks obtained in each subject, calculate percentage, and specify the division obtained (First , II, or III). Similarly, for 12th exam, they have to mention the board, division, subject option, and marks obtained in each subject. Also, complete all the information shown in this form.

The candidate should make the payment of their online application fee using net banking, debit or credit card, or through UPI. After that, they should keep a printout of their form for their records.
