Important Information for Navy SSR & MR Recruitment 2024 :-
The Indian Navy has invited online applications for unmarried male and female candidates for the positions of SSR and MR. The online application process for this recruitment will commence from May 13, 2024, and candidates can apply until May 27, 2024. Interested candidates for these positions can apply online on the official website provided below. The examination date and admit card release date for this recruitment have not been announced yet and will be notified to candidates accordingly.
Note - Vacancies for more than 300 MR positions have been announced in the Indian Navy. However, there has been no notification issued for vacancies in the SSR position yet. Once the vacancies are announced, candidates will be informed accordingly based on updates.
Age Limit for Navy SSR & MR Recruitment 2024 :-
Indian Navy has released the notification for unmarried male and female candidates for the post of Agni Veer. Candidates applying for SSR and MR posts should be born between 1 November 2023 to 30 April 2007. Minimum age should be approximately 17 years and maximum 21 years.
Application Fee for Navy SSR & MR Recruitment 2024 :-
Indian Navy will require unmarried male and female candidates to pay the examination fee for the posts of SSR and MR. In this, candidates of all categories such as General / OBC / EWS category and SC / ST category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 550/- along with 18% GST. Candidates are required to make their application fee payment through online mode, such as Net Banking/Visa/MasterCard/Rupee Credit/Debit Card/UPI. Admit cards for the examination will be issued only to those candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee.
Educational Qualification for Navy SSR & MR Recruitment 2024 :-
The Indian Navy has specified the eligibility criteria for unmarried male and female candidates applying for SSR and MR positions as follows:-
For SSR - Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized school board with a minimum of 50% marks in the Magnetic class. Alternatively, they should have completed a three-year diploma course in engineering from a recognized polytechnic institute or a two-year vocational course in non-professional subjects or physics and mathematics from a recognized education board. Candidates awaiting the results of the 12th class board examination are also eligible to apply. However, their selection will be contingent upon submitting their original documents during the second phase of the recruitment process. Qualified candidates in the eligibility stage will need to score minimum marks in the overall assessment and relevant subjects.
For MR - Candidates applying for MR positions should have passed the 10th class examination with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized school board. Those who have passed the 10th board exam and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply. Similar to SSR candidates, MR applicants must fulfill all other necessary requirements and submit their original documents during the eligibility phase. Qualified candidates in this stage will need to score minimum marks in the overall assessment and relevant subjects.
Salary for Navy SSR & MR Recruitment 2024:-
]Indian Navy will provide salary and associated benefits to unmarried male and female candidates applying for SSR and MR posts. Under this scheme, a package of Rs 30,000 per month will be available, which will include funds for general needs. Additionally, allowances for risk, hardship, attire and travel will also be provided.
On completion of the service period, the bachelors will be paid on time, which will also include the Government adjusted contribution in their package, as shown in the following table :-

Selection Process for Navy SSR & MR Recruitment 2024:-
Indian Navy has divided the selection process for SSR and MR posts into Stage I and Stage II for unmarried male and female candidates.
In the first phase, candidates will be selected through 'INET' examination, on the basis of which they will be selected in the Indian Navy. On the basis of marks obtained in this examination, state wise cut-off marks will be determined. The 'INET' exam will be of 100 questions, which will be computer based and will be available in two languages (Hindi and English). The question paper will have four sections – English, Mathematics, Science and General Awareness. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. This examination will be conducted by the Indian Navy.
In Phase II, candidates selected through 'AIE' will be issued call letters for Phase II (PFT, Interview, and Medical Examination). The recruitment process for the second phase will be conducted as per the standards of the Indian Navy. The syllabus for the second stage interview exam will be available on the official website of Indian Navy. The second stage medical examination will be conducted by qualified medical authorities.
Physical Standards for Navy SSR & MR Recruitment 2024:-
Candidates will be assessed in Physical Efficiency Test (PFT). Competency will be measured in Physical Efficiency Test, whereby candidates will be assessed as per the criteria of competency in PFT. Physical efficiency criteria will be as follows -

After this, candidates have to enter the required information in the form.
Then, the application fee has to be deposited.
In the next step, the required documents have to be submitted.
