Educational Qualification for MPPGCL AE Recruitment 2024

To apply for these positions, candidates must possess the following educational qualifications:

  • Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): BE/B.Tech or AMIE in Mechanical Engineering from an AICTE/UGC-recognized university/institute.
  • Assistant Engineer (Electrical): BE/B.Tech or AMIE in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering from an AICTE/UGC-recognized university/institute.
  • Assistant Engineer (Electronics): BE/B.Tech or AMIE in Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering from an AICTE/UGC-recognized university/institute.

Selection Process for MPPGCL AE Recruitment 2024

  1. Applicant Selection: Candidates will be selected for relevant posts based on their scores in the Computer Based Test (CBT), which will be 100 marks with multiple-choice questions.
  2. Merit List: A merit list will be prepared based on CBT scores, and selected candidates will be called for an interview with required documents as per their category.
  3. Selection of Divyang (Disabled) Candidates: Divyang candidates will be selected through walk-in interviews if they meet the required qualifications and experience. They are also encouraged to participate in the CBT.

Computer Based Exam

  • The exam will be conducted in various cities across Madhya Pradesh.
  • Candidates must select their preferred exam city during online application; no changes will be allowed after submission.
  • The Madhya Pradesh Power Generation Company’s decision regarding exam cities and centers will be final and binding.
  • The company reserves the right to add or remove exam centers as needed.
  • Candidates will receive information about their allotted city and exam center via email.
  • Use of electronic devices (e.g., mobile phones, tablets) is strictly prohibited in exam centers.
  • Consumption of intoxicants is completely banned, and such candidates will not be allowed entry to the exam centers.
