Information for RPSC Research Assistant Recruitment 2024

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the official notification of RPSC Research Assistant Recruitment 2024 on 8th October 2024. Interested candidates can apply online from 15th October to 13th November 2024. A total of 26 vacancies have been released, and candidates are required to have RS-CIT certificate along with postgraduate degree. Important Dates:

Application Fee 

• General, OBC, and EBC Candidates: ₹600
• SC, ST, OBC (NCL), and PH Candidates: ₹400

Candidates can pay the examination fee either through cash at the Rajasthan E Mitra Portal or via debit card, credit card, or net banking.

Age Limit As of January 1, 2025:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years

Qualification Requirements

Candidates must possess a Post graduate degree in any of the following fields: Economics, Public Administration, Sociology, Mathematics, Commerce, or Statistics, along with the RS-CIT certification.

Mode of Selection

The selection process will involve:

• Written Examination
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

Exam Pattern

Important Points:

1. Both question papers will consist of objective-type questions.
2. For each correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded, while 1/3 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
3. The detailed syllabus for both the first and second question papers will be made available on the commission's website.
4. The minimum passing marks for each question paper will be 35 percent, but a combined passing mark of 40 percent is required for both papers. There will be a 5 percent concession in the minimum passing marks for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
