The Rajasthan government has relaunched the Free Tablet Scheme 2024. Under this scheme, topper students of class 8th, 10th and 12th studying in government schools of Rajasthan will be given free tablets. A total of 55,800 topper students will get the benefit of this scheme. Information about the eligibility of students and required documents is given below. Information About Rajasthan Free Tablet Scheme 2024 :-

The scheme of providing free tablets to students of class 8th, 10th and 12th of government schools of Rajasthan is being restarted. After the formation of the government of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the Secondary Education Department has re-implemented this scheme. The scheme was discontinued in 2019-20 and tablets could not be distributed in the last three years due to Covid-19. Now, under this scheme, 55,800 topper students of government schools will be provided free tablets and three years of free internet.

Rajasthan Free Tablet Scheme through Secondary Education Department will cost Rs 110 crore to distribute free tablets to students of class 8th, 10th and 12th of government schools. Tablets from companies like Acer and Samsung will be provided under this scheme. These tablets will be given to those students who have scored more than 75% marks in the board examinations of 2022-2023 and 2023-2024. Students who are at the top of the board this year will be given these tablets in the school itself after the school opens in July.

Objective of Rajasthan Free Tablet Scheme 2024:-

The aim of Rajasthan Free Tablet Scheme 2024 is to encourage digitalization in the field of education. Under this scheme, the Rajasthan government is planning to provide free tablets to the students, so that they can use the digital platform for their studies. The main objective of this scheme is to provide education facilities to the students in an accessible and affordable manner. Through this, students will be able to get online education and take advantage of digital education using smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

Eligibility of Rajasthan Free Tablet Scheme 2024:-

The eligibility for Rajasthan Free Tablet Scheme 2024 is as follows:

This scheme is mainly for students of government and government aided schools, including students of class 8th, 10th, and 12th.
Only those students can avail the benefits of this scheme who have topped their class and have scored a minimum of 75% marks in the board examination.
The student must be enrolled in a recognized government or government aided school.
No member of the family should be in a government job nor be an income tax payer.
The student must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.

Required documents for Rajasthan Free Tablet Scheme 2024:-

Free tablets will be distributed to the students of class 8th, 10th and 12th of government schools under Rajasthan Free Tablet Scheme by the Secondary Education Department. For this, the students must have the following documents.
