Application Fee

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the application fee to be paid by the candidates applying for AIIMS Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-2024). General and OBC category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 3000/-, while for SC/ST/EWS category candidates, this fee will be Rs 2,400/-. No fee will be charged from the candidates belonging to the disabled category. All the candidates have to pay their examination fee only through debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI and other payment modes.

Age Limit (As of 21 August 2024)

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has prescribed the age limit for candidates applying for AIIMS Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-2024). The minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years, while the maximum age can be up to 30 years for AIIMS NORCET 2023 and 35 years for NITRD, New Delhi. Eligibility Criteria

1. For B.Sc. Nursing:

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/state Nursing council recognized Institute or University.
  • B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing council recognized Institute/ University.
  • Registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council.

2. For Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery:

  • Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing council recognized Institute/Board or Council.
  • Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council.
  • Two years’ experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification.

Selection Process

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the selection process of AIIMS Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-2024), which consists of two stages. The first stage will be the Preliminary Examination, which will be conducted through online Computer-Based Test (CBT). The second stage is the Main Examination, which will be conducted on 4 October 2024 for those candidates who will clear the preliminary examination.

Syllabus

The AIIMS NORCET 2024 syllabus covers various subjects, including:

  • Nursing Subjects: Nursing management, community health nursing, medical-surgical nursing, midwifery, etc.
  • General Awareness: Current affairs, history, politics, environmental issues, etc.
  • Aptitude Test: Time and distance, probability, ratio, time and work, etc.

Caste/Category Certificates

  3. EWS candidates must submit an Income and Assets certificate for the financial year 2023-2024.
  4. Candidates who fail to produce valid category certificates during document verification will have their candidature canceled.

    Yes, minimum two years of experience is required for Jinam Bishnoi. Experience of working in BSC Supermarket is also an important factor for this.

  11. Is there any blocking marking in the test?

    Yes, the test may have blocking marking. Weightage may be deducted for each wrong answer. Detailed information will be available in the magazine directory.

  12. Will there be an option to restrict the exam centre in advance?

    Yes, the option to select your preferred exam centre is mandatory while applying. However, the final option was released by AIIMS.
