Important Information for AFCAT Recruitment 2024 :-
Indian Air Force has released the notification of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2024, in which a total of 304 posts will be recruited in Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical) Branch and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branch. The online application process for this recruitment will start from 30 May 2024 and candidates can apply till 28 June 2024. Candidates selected in AFCAT will join the course starting in July 2025, and after completing the course they will be granted Short Service Commission in the Air Force. Age Limit for AFCAT Recruitment 2024 :-
Indian Air Force has set the age limit for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2024 for recruitment to the posts of Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical) Branch and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branch. For Flying Branch, candidates age should be between 02 July 2001 to 01 July 2005, with age being between 20 to 24 years. The upper age limit is relaxed up to 26 years for candidates holding a valid Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India). For Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) candidates age should be minimum 20 years and maximum 26 years, and they should be born between 02 July 1999 to 01 July 2005. The age of the candidate will be calculated as on 01 July 2025.

Application Fee for AFCAT Recruitment 2024 :-
Indian Air Force will conduct online examination for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) at various centres. Registering candidates will have to pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs 550/- (including GST), while NCC Special Entry candidates will not have to pay this fee. Candidates have to pay the examination fee through online mode.
Educational Qualification for AFCAT Recruitment 2024 :-
Indian Air Force has determined the educational qualification of the candidates applying for the posts of Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical) Branch and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branch under the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2024 as per the posts. For Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical) Branch, candidates must have 50% marks in Science stream (Maths and Physics) and 60% marks in BE/B.Tech in 12th class. For Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branch, candidates must have 50% marks in Science stream (Maths and Physics) in 12th class and 60% marks in Graduation/Post Graduation from any stream.

Salary for AFCAT Recruitment 2024 :-
Candidates applying for AFCAT 2024 in the Flying, Ground Duty (Technical), and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branches of the Indian Air Force will be provided with many benefits as well as an attractive salary. During the training, trainee candidates will be given initial stipend ranging from Rs 56,100/- to Rs 1,77,500/- per month. Selection Process for AFCAT Recruitment 2024 :-
Indian Air Force has set the selection process for AFCAT 2024 for recruitment to Flying, Ground Duty (Technical), and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branches as follows:1. Written Examination – This examination evaluates general knowledge, aptitude and technical skills.2. SSB Exam – It consists of picture perception and discussion test, psychological test, group work and personal interview. Candidates are required to be physically fit for these tests.3. Medical Examination – Candidates are subjected to a comprehensive medical examination to ensure that they meet the required health and fitness standards.Candidates who successfully complete all these stages and appear in the final merit list will be considered eligible for the post. Note that the online examination will be conducted only for AFCAT admission.

How to apply
AFCAT Step - 1
First, candidates should visit the AFCAT website at afcat.cdac.in. Then, they should click on "Candidate Login" displayed on the homepage, followed by clicking on "AFCAT 01 2024". This will open a new page.
AFCAT Step - 2
When candidates reach the sign in page, the sign in option will appear there. If candidates are already signed in, they should login. If they are applying for the first time, they should also sign in beforehand. To sign in, the candidate has to enter his/her name, email ID, and mobile number. After this, they will receive an OTP on their email ID and mobile number, which they will enter. Then, they have to enter the captcha code and click on shining.After signing in, they will again have to enter their email ID, password, and captcha code, and then click on Sign In. After this, the option to reset the password will appear. The candidate should reset his/her password.AFCAT Step - 3
After this, the candidate has to fill all the information given in his form, such as name of the candidate, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, address, email ID, mobile number, etc. The candidate will have to enter all this information carefully.After that, the candidate has to upload his/her required documents, such as Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID Card, 10th and 12th Marksheet etc. The candidate should keep these documents with him along with the required documents.Next, the candidate has to upload his/her photograph and signature, which should be in the specified file size. The photo must be in colour.Finally, the candidate has to pay the fees, which he can do through online mode. After deposit of fees, the candidate has to take a print out of his/her form, which he/she can retain with him/her.
