Vacancy Details

A total of 5000 training seats have been announced for engagement as Apprentices across 35 States/UTs. These are distributed State/UT-wise across SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and UR categories with horizontal reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). Eligibility Criteria

  • Registration Requirement: Candidates must be registered on NAPS portal (https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and/or NATS portal (https://nats.education.gov.in) before applying.
  • Educational Qualification: Graduation Degree in any Discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualifications recognized by the Central Government. For NATS candidates, the date of passing Graduation should not be more than 4 years preceding 01-05-2026.
  • Prior Apprenticeship: Candidate should NOT have undergone Apprenticeship with Bank of Baroda or any other Establishment in the past, and should not currently be pursuing Apprenticeship Training.
  • Training / Job Experience: Candidates with training or job experience for 1 year or more after completing educational qualification are NOT eligible.
  • State/UT Application: Candidates can apply for engagement as apprentice in one State/UT only and must select up to 3 preferred training locations/centres within that State/UT.
  • Nationality: Indian Citizens only.

Selection Process

Selection for engagement of apprentices will be based on three stages:

Stage 1: Online Examination

The online examination will be remotely proctored and will consist of 100 questions for 100 marks, with a duration of 60 minutes. There will be NO negative marks for wrong answers.

SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates receive a 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks on aggregate.

Stage 2: Document Verification

Candidates who qualify the online examination will be invited for Document Verification at a Bank-designated centre in the State/UT they applied for.

Stage 3: Test of Local Language (State-wise)

A local language test will be conducted for candidates. Candidates producing 10th or 12th standard mark sheets having studied the specified local language of the State/UT will be exempted from this test. Failure to qualify the local language test will lead to ineligibility for engagement. For a complete list of State/UT-wise local languages, please refer to the official notification.

How to Apply for Bank of Baroda Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Applications must be submitted online only. Follow these steps:

  1. Mandatory Registration: First, register on the Government Apprenticeship portals: NAPS (https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and/or NATS (https://nats.education.gov.in).
  2. Application Form & Payment: After NAPS/NATS registration, eligible candidates will receive an email from BFSI SSC inviting them to fill the final "Application cum Examination Form" and make the applicable fee payment.
  3. Completion: The application is considered complete only after the fee/charges are successfully deposited with BFSI SSC.
  4. Important Note: Keep your Enrolment Id (NATS) and Apprentice Registration Code (NAPS) for future correspondence.
