Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released an official notification on its website for the recruitment of Assistant Professors in 23 departments (specialists) under the Health Department of Bihar, including medical colleges and hospitals in the state, in which a total of 1339 vacancies have been released. The online application process for which will start from June 25, 2024 and candidates can apply till July 26, 2024. Age Limit for BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment :-

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has not specified the minimum age limit for candidates applying for Assistant Professor posts in 23 departments under the Health Department of Bihar. However, the maximum age limit has been fixed at 45 years for all applicants. But the maximum age limit is as follows:-

Application Fee for BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment :-

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced that applicants for the Assistant Professor posts under Health Department of Bihar will have to pay an application fee. The application fee for General/EWS/BC/EBC/Other candidates is Rs.100/-. SC/ST/PH (Bihar Residents) will have to pay an application fee of Rs.25/-, while female candidates of Bihar will also have to pay an application fee of Rs.25/-. Additionally, a biometric fee of Rs.200/- has been charged. Candidates can pay their examination fee through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI mode only.

Educational Qualification and Vacancy Details for BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment :-

Candidates applying for Assistant Professor posts under Bihar Health Department must have an MD/MS degree under Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). Next, they must have at least three years of experience as a Senior Resident/Tutor from a recognized medical college or hospital in their respective subject. Bihar Health Services Cadre officers are also required to have a postgraduate degree in their specialty and three years of teaching experience in medical colleges and hospitals recognized by the Medical Council of India to apply for these posts.

Salary for BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment :-

Applicants for the Assistant Professor posts under Bihar Health Department will be paid a monthly salary ranging from Rs.15600/- to Rs.39000/- in the Grade Pay – Rs.6600/- and Pay Level – 11 as per the 7th Pay Commission structure.

Selection Process for BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment :-

The applicants for the Assistant Professor posts conducted by the Local Election Service Commission (BPSC) under the Bihar Health Department will be selected as per the merit list. They will be called for an interview and they will have to verify their required documents. After this, the medical examination of the candidates will be done and after the completion of the examination, the candidates will be selected.
