BPSC Block Horticulture Recruitment Age Limit :-

BPSC has prescribed the age limit of candidates applying for Block Horticulture Officer (BHO) post as follows:-

- Minimum age: 21 years

- Maximum Age (Unreserved Male): 37 years

- Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class (Male and Female): 40 years

- Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Male and Female): 42 years

Duly employed and working contractual employees will be given relaxation in the upper age limit for regular appointment under direct recruitment, not exceeding 60 years as on 01.08.2023.

BPSC Block Horticulture Recruitment Application Fee:-

BPSC requires applicants for the Block Horticulture Officer (BHO) position to submit an application fee. Candidates belonging to the general category must pay Rs 750/- while candidates from Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes must pay Rs 200/- Female candidates from all reserved/unreserved categories are required to pay Rs 200/- and differently-abled candidates must pay Rs 200/- Other candidates are required to pay Rs 750/- Payment of examination fees must be made through debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, and other payment modes.

Applicants for the Block Horticulture Officer (BHO) position by BPSC must possess a Bachelor's degree in Horticulture/ Agriculture Science from any recognized agricultural university/institution. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Horticulture Science (B.Sc. Horti)/Agriculture Science (B.Sc. Agri) from any recognized agricultural university/institution will be considered eligible for this recruitment.

Candidates applying for the position of Block Horticulture Officer (BHO) by BPSC will be offered a monthly salary ranging from 25500/- to 81100/- as per the Pay Matrix Level-4.

 BPSC Block Horticulture Recruitment Selection Process :-

Candidates applying for BPSC Block Horticulture Officer (BHO) post will be selected on the basis of written examination and interview (oral examination). In the selection process of this recruitment, the written examination will be based on three subjects: 100 marks for General Hindi, 100 marks for General Knowledge, and 200 marks for Horticulture and Agricultural Science together, the total examination will be 400 marks.
