Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the notification for Mining Engineering Lecturer posts on the official website. Age Limit for Mining Engineering Lecturer Recruitment :-

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has fixed the minimum age of 21 years for candidates to apply for Mining Engineering Lecturer posts. The maximum age limit has not been fixed, but the retirement age is fixed at 65 years. The age of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of 1st August 2024.

Application Fee for Mining Engineering Lecturer Recruitment :-

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced that candidates applying for Mining Engineering Lecturer posts will have to pay an application fee. General/EWS/BC/EBC category candidates and candidates from other states will have to pay a fee of Rs 750/-, while SC and ST candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 200/-. Similarly, an application fee of Rs 200/- will also be applicable for candidates with more than 40% disability. The examination fee has to be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI mode only, and this payment has to be made by 16 July 2024.

Educational Qualification for Mining Engineering Recruitment :-

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has made it mandatory for the candidates applying for Mining Engineering Lecturer posts to have a degree in Mining Engineering, or a first class or equivalent degree in B.E./B.Tech./B.S. (Engineering) in Technology branch. Only such candidates will be considered eligible for this recruitment.

Note:-

(i) Degrees or diplomas obtained in Engineering/Technology subjects through distance mode or from open university will not be valid.

(ii) Degrees obtained from integrated courses before the prescribed period will not be valid.

(iii) In case of any inconsistency in educational qualification, only the qualification mentioned in English will be valid.

(iv) As per departmental letter no. 2130, dated 04.09.2020, M.Tech. degree obtained directly in the appropriate branch after obtaining a first class degree in B.E./B.Tech. has been considered as experience.
