CESCOM Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Overview

Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Limited (CESC), Mysore, under the Government of Karnataka, has released a notification for Apprentice Training in 2026. This program offers one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973.

Applications are invited from eligible Graduates, Non-Engineering Graduates, and Diploma holders who have passed out between 2022 and 2026 and are residents of Karnataka State. A total of 200 apprenticeship positions are available across Engineering Graduate, Technician (Diploma), and Non-Engineering categories for the training year 2026-2027.

CESCOM Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

• Requisite Qualification:
• Graduate Apprentices: BE/B.Tech in relevant branch from AICTE/State/Central Govt. recognized University/Institution.
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: 3-year Diploma in relevant branch from recognized Polytechnic.
• Non-Engineering Graduates: BA / B.Sc / B.Com / BBA / BCA from recognized University.

Passing Year: Candidates must have passed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.

Experience: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training or have one year work experience are not eligible.

Age Limit: Not less than 18 years.

Language Proficiency: Knowledge of reading and writing in Kannada language is required.

Domicile: Only Karnataka State candidates are eligible.

Stipend Details

• Graduate & Non-Engineering Apprentices: Rs. 12,300/- per month
• Diploma Apprentices: Rs. 10,900/- per month

CESCOM Selection Procedure

Candidates will be shortlisted based on marks secured in the qualifying examination by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region). Shortlisted candidates will be informed via registered email and must appear in person for document verification at CESC Corporate Office, Mysuru.

Candidates must register/enroll on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Portal (https://nats.education.gov.in/) and apply against CESC vacancies. For new users, complete profile and generate a 12-digit Enrollment Number before applying.
