CISF has released a notification for recruitment to the posts of Constable Fireman. Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has declared vacancies for 1130 posts. Application Fee

CISF has asked the candidates applying for recruitment to the Constable Fireman posts to pay the application fee. The application fee for General, OBC and EWS category candidates has been fixed at ₹100/-. SC, ST and other category candidates are exempted from the application fee. This fee can be paid through online mode.

Age Limit

CISF has set the minimum age for recruitment to the posts of Constable Fireman as 18 years and maximum age as 23 years. Age will be calculated on the basis of 30 September 2024. The candidate should be born between 1 October 2001 to 30 September 2006. Age relaxation will be provided to the reserved category candidates.

CISF Recruitment 2024 Pay Scale

CISF is offering a pay scale of ₹21,700-69,100/- for recruitment to Constable Fireman posts, along with other allowances as given to Central Government employees. Selected candidates will be provided pension under National Pension System (NPS).

Exam Composition

Important Points

1. Question Type: Objective Multiple Choice
2. Languages: English and Hindi
3. Negative Marking: None
4. Date of Examination: Will be announced on the CISF website cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in
5. Answer Key: Tentative Answer Keys will be posted on the CISF website. Candidates can submit online representations (Rs.100/- per question) if needed.
6. Standard of Questions: 12th standard (Science subject)
7. Electronic Gadgets: Not allowed (including calculators)
8. Normalization: Marks will be normalized if conducted in multiple shifts.
9. Identity Verification: Biometric credentials from PET/PST/DV will be used.

Medical Examination

• Shortlisting: Based on performance in the written examination.
• Candidates: Approximately 2 times the number of vacancies.
• Guidelines: As per Uniform Guidelines for recruitment Medical Examination for CAPFs and ARs.

Tattoo Criteria

• Content: Religious symbols/figures are permitted.
• Location: Allowed on traditional sites like the inner left forearm or dorsum of the hands.
• Size: Must be less than ¼ of the particular body part (elbow or hand).
