Eligibility Criteria for CSIR-CEERI Recruitment 2024

1. Technical Assistant (General Posts):

• B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons) in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or related fields with a minimum of 60% marks.

• OR equivalent qualification in Applied Electronics, Physical Sciences, Data Science, Software Engineering, etc.

• Minimum one year of relevant experience or professional qualification.

2. Technical Assistant (PwBD – VH Backlog):

• Diploma in Computer/IT Engineering of at least 3 years duration with 60% marks and 2 years of experience.

• OR lateral-entry Diploma (2 years) with equivalent qualifications and 2 years of experience.

Selection Procedure for CSIR-CEERI Recruitment 2024

Candidates recommended by the Screening Committee will be invited for the Trade Test. Those who qualify in the Trade Test will be invited for a competitive written examination. The final merit list will be prepared based on the candidates' performance in the competitive written examination.

Examination Mode for Technical Assistant

There will be three papers for these posts:

• Paper-I
• Paper-II
• Paper-III

Paper-II and Paper-III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in Paper-I. The final merit list will be prepared based only on the marks obtained in Paper-II and Paper-III.

Examination Mode

• OMR Based or Computer Based Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination.
• The questions will be set in English and Hindi (except for English language questions).
• The exam level will be based on the advertised qualifications (Diploma/Graduation level).
