Gujarat Police Recruitment Board has released the notification for the recruitment of Constable and Sub Inspector (SI), with a total of 12,472 vacancies. The online application process for Constable and Sub Inspector has started from 4th April 2024 and will continue till 30th April 2024. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website given below, where they can also find detailed information in the notification.

Age Limit Police Recruitment :-

The age limit of the candidates to apply for Constable and Sub Inspector (SI) posts has been fixed by Gujarat Police Recruitment Board as per the post. According to this, the age of the candidates for Constable and Jail Constable posts should be minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years. Whereas, for the post of Sub Inspector (SI), the age of the candidate should start from 21 years to maximum 35 years. Additionally, all female candidates will be provided relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.

Application Fee Police Recruitment :-

While applying for Constable and Sub Inspector (SI) posts announced by Gujarat Police Recruitment Board, candidates have to pay an application fee. According to this, the application fee for general category candidates is Rs 100/-. However, EWS, SC, ST, Socio-Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) and Ex-Servicemen will not have to pay any fee. The application fee has to be paid before 30 April 2024, through online or net banking.

Educational Qualification Police Recruitment :-

As per the eligibility criteria prescribed by Gujarat Police Recruitment Board for Constable and Sub Inspector (SI) posts, an applicant for the post of Constable must have passed 12th class or its equivalent qualification from any recognized board. At the same time, for Sub Inspector, the applicant must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or educational institution, which is recognized as a deemed university under the State Act or under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act-1956, or Then there should be any equivalent qualification accepted by the government.

Selection Process Police Recruitment :-

The selection process for Constable and Sub Inspector (SI) posts conducted by Gujarat Police Recruitment Board requires candidates to qualify a written examination, undergo medical test, and in addition, they have to appear for PET and PST to check physical efficiency and standards.
