Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released the notification for recruitment for JBT Teacher posts on 9th August 2024, announcing 1456 vacancies. The online application process will start from 12th August 2024, and candidates can apply till 21st August 2024. Age Limit

As of August 21, 2024, the age requirements are:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 42 years
• Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government rules

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

1. Candidates must have passed their Class 12th Examination with at least 50% marks and a 2-year D.El.Ed.

2. Candidates must have passed their Class 12th Examination with at least 50% marks and a 4-year B.El.Ed.

3. Candidates must have passed their Class 12th Examination with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002.

4. Candidates must have passed their Class 12th Examination with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

5. Candidates must have a B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. degree and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name) and must have:

• A certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).
• Matriculation with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects.
  

Vacancy Details

HSSC has announced the recruitment of Junior Factory Teachers for a total of 1456 posts. The vacancies have been distributed across various categories such as unreserved, other backward classes (OBC), economically reserved category (EWS), physically handicapped category and ex-servicemen category.

Selection Process

The selection process for the Junior Basic Teacher position includes two stages:

1. Written Examination:Candidates who complete the online application will be invited to participate in the written examination scheduled for September or October 2024.
2. Document Verification:Candidates who pass the written exam by achieving the required cut-off marks will proceed to document verification. The final selection list will be prepared based on the overall performance in both stages.
