The Indian Army has announced recruitment under the Sports Quota Entry Intake 03/2024 for unmarried male and female candidates to join as Direct Entry Havildar and Naib Subedar. Applications are invited from outstanding sportspersons who have participated in recognized national or international sports events. Candidates will be selected through trials conducted by the Army Sports Control Board. The last date to submit the application is 28th February 2025.

Indian Army Sports Quota Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Havildar and Naib Subedar: Minimum qualification is matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized board.
Sports Achievements
- Medalist at Junior/Senior level by representing a State in National competitions or representing India at the International level.
- Medalist in Khelo India Games, Youth Games, or University Games.
Age Limit

Indian Army Sports Quota Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
1. Application Screening: Shortlisting based on higher sports achievements.
2. Physical Fitness Test: Includes:
- 1.6 km run: 5 minutes 45 seconds (male), 8 minutes (female).
- 9 feet ditch (male) / 10 feet long jump (female).
- Zig-zag balance (male) / 3 feet high jump (female).
3. Skill Test: Conducted in the respective sports discipline.
4. Medical Examination: Conducted by the Army Medical Team at the trial site.
5. Merit List: Prepared based on performance in trials and medical fitness.
