The Indian Merchant Navy has announced a total of 4000 vacancies for Engine Rating and other positions. The online application process started on March 11, 2024, and candidates can apply until April 30, 2024. Age Limit Merchant Navy Recruitment :-
Candidates applying for Indian Merchant Navy recruitment for Engine Rating and other positions must be between the ages of 17.5 years (minimum) and 25 years (maximum), with age relaxation provided to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes as per government regulations.
Application Fee Merchant Navy Recruitment :-
Candidates applying for Indian Merchant Navy recruitment for Engine Rating and other positions are required to pay the application fee, with General, OBC, EWS category candidates needing to pay an application fee of Rs. 100/-, and SC, ST, and other category candidates needing to pay an application fee of Rs. 100/-. Salary Merchant Navy Recruitment :-
Candidates applying for Indian Merchant Navy Recruitment for Engine Rating and Other Posts will be given the following salary as per their post –
- Mess Boy – For the post of Mess Boy, candidates will be given a salary structure of Rs 18000 to Rs 36000.
- Deck Rating – Candidates will be given a salary of Rs 30000 to Rs 50000 for the post of Deck Rating.Electrician – Candidates will be given a salary structure of Rs 25000 to 40000 for the post of Electrician.Engine Rating – Candidates will be given a salary of Rs 20000 to 40000 for the post of Engine Rating.Cook – For the post of Cook, candidates will be given a salary structure of Rs 18000 to Rs 30000.Welder/Assistant – Candidates will be given a salary structure of Rs 25000 to 40000 for the post of Welder/Assistant.Seaman – For the post of Seaman, candidates will be given a salary structure of Rs 18000 to Rs 40000.

Candidates are required to click on the "Application Fee" section. They need to enter their application number and then provide their account number and transaction ID to submit the file. Afterward, candidates will be shown a QR code that they can scan to pay the fee. Candidates must pay a fee of Rs. 100.
