Age Limit Merchant Navy Recruitment :-

Candidates applying for Indian Merchant Navy recruitment for Engine Rating and other positions must be between the ages of 17.5 years (minimum) and 25 years (maximum), with age relaxation provided to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes as per government regulations.

Salary Merchant Navy Recruitment :-

Candidates applying for Indian Merchant Navy Recruitment for Engine Rating and Other Posts will be given the following salary as per their post –

Mess Boy – For the post of Mess Boy, candidates will be given a salary structure of Rs 18000 to Rs 36000.

Deck Rating – Candidates will be given a salary of Rs 30000 to Rs 50000 for the post of Deck Rating.

Electrician – Candidates will be given a salary structure of Rs 25000 to 40000 for the post of Electrician.

Engine Rating – Candidates will be given a salary of Rs 20000 to 40000 for the post of Engine Rating.

Cook – For the post of Cook, candidates will be given a salary structure of Rs 18000 to Rs 30000.

Welder/Assistant – Candidates will be given a salary structure of Rs 25000 to 40000 for the post of Welder/Assistant.

Seaman – For the post of Seaman, candidates will be given a salary structure of Rs 18000 to Rs 40000.
