Vacancy Details
A total of 60 vacancies are available for Permanent Commission in Technical Branches. Candidates must specify their preference for Mechanical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering during application. Maximum 08 vacancies are reserved for women (04 each for Mechanical Engg and Electronics & Communication Engg).

Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: As per Government of India norms.
- Marital Status: Unmarried men and women only. Marriage during training will lead to discharge and refund of training costs.
- Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary Examination) or equivalent with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), and at least 50% marks in English (in Class X or XII).
- JEE (Main) 2026 Requirement: Must have appeared for JEE (Main) 2026 exam (for B.E./B.Tech). Shortlisting for SSB will be based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) 2026.
- Medical Standards: Candidates must meet the prescribed medical standards for 10+2 (B.Tech) entry. No relaxation in medical standards.

Candidates must have been born between 02 July 2007 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive).
