Age Limit As of August 1, 2024
For General Category and EWS candidates, the minimum age should be 20 years and the maximum age should be 28 years as of the cut-off date, i.e., 01.08.2024. The date of birth should fall between 01.08.1996 and 01.08.2004, inclusive. However, age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates will be as per the current Government of India guidelines.

Educational Qualification
A degree (graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government is required. The result of the qualification must have been declared between 01.04.2020 and 01.08.2024, inclusive. Candidates must provide mark sheets and provisional/degree certificates from the university/college when required by the bank.

Indian Overseas Bank Apprenticeship Salary 2024
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000. Of this amount, Indian Overseas Bank will deposit ₹10,500 into the apprentices' accounts on a monthly basis. The government’s share of ₹4,500 will be directly credited to the apprentices' bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode, as per existing guidelines.

Indian Overseas Bank Apprenticeship Selection Procedure 2024
Candidates applying for training positions in a specific state must be proficient (in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in at least one of the local languages of that state. A test to assess knowledge of the specified local language will be conducted as part of the selection process. The exam will last 90 minutes. The exam structure is as follows:
