Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has recently released the Tradesman Recruitment Notification for the posts of Barber, Safai Karamchari, and Mali. 143 vacancies have been declared in it. The online application process will start from 28th July 2024 and candidates can apply online till 26th August 2024. Application fee is exempted for female candidates and Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates. Application Fee

Candidates applying for the posts of Barber, Safai Karamchari and Gardener in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) will have to pay an application fee. General, OBC and EWS category candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 100, while there is no fee for SC, ST and female candidates. Candidates have to deposit their examination fee by 26 August 2024 through online payment only.

• General, OBC, EWS: ₹100

Age Limit

For the positions of Barber, Sanitary Worker, and Gardener in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), the minimum age of candidates should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 23 years. For the Gardener position, the maximum age limit is 25 years. Additionally, age relaxation will be provided according to government rules.

• Barber and Sanitary Worker: Candidates must be born before August 27, 1999, and after August 26, 2006.
• Constable (Gardener): Candidates must be born before August 27, 2001, and after August 26, 2006.

Educational Qualifications

For the posts of Barber, Safai Karamchari and Mali in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), candidates must have passed 10th/Matriculation from a recognized board. Also, two years of work experience in the relevant trade or one year certificate from Industrial Training Institute (ITI) (with at least one year experience in the trade) or two years diploma from ITI in the trade is required.

Constable (Barber and Sanitary Worker):

• The candidate must have completed matriculation from any recognized school or institution.
• The candidate must pass the practical exam in the departmental examination.

Constable (Gardener):

• The candidate must have passed 10th grade from any recognized board.
• The candidate should have two years of work experience in the relevant trade from a recognized institution/establishment.
• A one-year certificate from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) is required.
• The candidate should have a diploma of two years from a relevant trade institution/professional institution or ITI, along with at least one year of experience in the relevant trade.

Salary for ITBP Tradesman Recruitment

Candidates applying for Constable (Tradesman) posts in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) will be paid a salary ranging from Rs 21,700/- to Rs 69,100/- per month (as per 7th CPC) in the Pay Matrix, under Pay Scale, Level-3.

• Running: Male – 1.6 km in 7.30 minutes, Female – 800 meters in 4.5 minutes

Constable Gardener

• Height: Male – 167.5 cm, Female – 157 cm

Mode of Selection

Candidates will be issued online admit cards with the date and venue of the recruitment examination. The candidature of admit card holders will be provisional till final selection and document verification. Candidates must bring a clear printout of their online application form and admit card; otherwise, they will not be allowed to appear in PET and PST.
