NVS Lucknow Region Contractual Teacher Vacancy 2026 Notification OUT

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Regional Office Lucknow has released a notification for the preparation of a panel for the engagement of PGTs, TGTs, Librarian, and Staff Nurse on a contractual basis for the academic session 2026-27 against provisional vacancies. Online applications are invited for various teaching and non-teaching posts in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas located in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand under the Lucknow Region.

Educational Qualification

Qualification for PGT Posts: Candidates should have Integrated Post Graduate Course from NCTE recognized institution in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks, including B.Ed. component OR Master’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in the concerned subject along with B.Ed. Degree from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks. Three years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. or four years integrated degree including B.Ed. component is also accepted.

Qualifications for PGT Computer Science: Candidates should possess M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT)/MCA or M.E./M.Tech (Computer Science/IT) with a minimum 50% marks along with the required B.Ed./Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. qualification from NCTE recognized institution.

Qualifications for TGT Posts: Candidates should possess four years integrated degree course with at least 50% marks, including B.Ed. component OR Bachelor’s/ Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject, along with B.Ed. Degree. Candidates must also qualify the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET Paper-II) conducted by the Government of India and should have competence to teach through English and Hindi medium.

Qualification for TGT Computer Science: Candidates should possess a BCA with at least 50% marks, OR a Graduation in Computer Science/IT with a minimum 50% marks OR BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology with at least 50% marks. CTET Paper-II and B.Ed./Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. qualification is also required.

Qualification for TGT Art: Bachelor’s Degree in Drawing and Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art/Fine Arts with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed. Degree from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks.

Qualifications for TGT Physical Education: Candidates should have four years integrated B.P.Ed. course with minimum 50% marks OR Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education/Physical Science/Physical Education and Sports with required B.P.Ed. qualification.

Qualifications for TGT Music: Bachelor’s Degree in Music/Performing Arts with minimum 50% marks, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks.

Qualification for Librarian: Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science OR Bachelor’s Degree in Library & Information Science with at least 50% marks along with knowledge of computer applications and working knowledge of Hindi and English.

Qualification for Staff Nurse: Candidates should possess B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing OR Regular B.Sc. Nursing OR Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University/ Institute. Candidates should also be registered as a Nurse or Nurse Mid-Wife with the State Nursing Council and must have two and a half years of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring a qualification.

The panel of teachers will be formed on the basis of essential academic qualifications, higher qualifications in the relevant field, achievements/awards, work experience in recognized schools, and personal interaction. Except for TGT Third Language posts, interviews for all posts will be conducted offline only.
