Important Information Fireman Recruitment 2024 :-

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) of Maharashtra has announced 150 vacancies of Group-D cadre for Fireman/Fire Rescuer in its Fire Department. The online process to apply for these posts has started from 26 April 2024 and will continue till 17 May 2024. Interested candidates can apply for this post by visiting the official website of PCMC www.pcmcindia.gov.in.

Age Limit Fireman Recruitment 2024 :-

Candidates applying for Fire Department of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) should be minimum 18 years and maximum 38 years of age. The maximum age limit for project affected and earthquake affected persons is 45 years, while for orphan and sportsperson candidates it is 43 years. Ex-servicemen get a relaxation of 3 years from the defined age limit. Similarly, for children of ex-servicemen and degree holders also the maximum age limit is 45 years as per government notifications.

Application Fee Fireman Recruitment 2024 :-

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Candidates applying for Fire Department have to pay the application fee. General category candidates will have to pay Rs 1000/- and OBC, Vernier, Previous Category candidates will have to pay Rs 100/- as application fee. Candidates will have to make this payment through online by 17 May 2024. There will be no refund of examination fee, but examination fee will be waived off for ex-servicemen. If the examination fee is not received by the Corporation within the prescribed time limit, the online applications of such candidates will be considered ineligible. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. If the recruitment process is postponed/cancelled for any reason, the recruitment fee will not be refunded.

Educational Qualification Fireman Recruitment 2024 :-

Candidates applying for Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Fire Department must have passed 10th class from a recognized university and must have completed 6 months fire training course conducted from State Fire Training Centre, Mumbai, Government of Maharashtra. Also, the candidate must have M.Sc. Must have passed the examination and knowledge of Marathi language is necessary.

Salary Fireman Recruitment 2024 :-

Candidates applying for Fire Department by Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) will be provided monthly salary as per S-6 in Grade Pay ranging from Rs 19,900/- to Rs 63,200/-.

Selection Process Recruitment 2024 :-

Candidates applying for PCMC Fire Department will have to appear in written examination and will be selected through interview and skill test. If the number of applications is large, the examination may be decided on the basis of educational qualification and/or experience. The number of eligible candidates will be limited. The list of marks of the examination will be published online and date, venue etc. of the examination will be available on the website. Candidates are required to bring identity proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card or Driving License) at the time of examination. Parallel reservation and prestige will be considered. No assistance will be available in the examination. Selection of examination centers will be based on the choice of the candidate.
