Reservation/Concession:
- EWS: Candidates must submit a valid Income and Asset Certificate issued by a competent authority at the time of application. This certificate should be for the current financial year.
- OBC (NCL): Candidates in this category need to submit a valid certificate issued in the prescribed format by the Government of India. The certificate must be valid for the financial year 2023-24.
- SC/ST: Candidates must submit a caste certificate issued by a competent authority.
- PwBD: Candidates need to submit a disability certificate issued by a Government Medical Board.
- Ex-Servicemen: They must submit a discharge certificate. If they received technical training in the armed forces, they should provide relevant proof of qualification.

Eligibility Criteria for PGCIL Recruitment 2024
- Diploma Trainee (Electrical): Requires a full-time regular three-year diploma in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g., Electrical, Electrical Power) with a minimum of 70% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS categories. Higher qualifications like B.Tech or M.Tech are not allowed.
- Diploma Trainee (Civil): Full-time regular three-year diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 70% marks. Candidates with higher technical qualifications are not eligible.
- Junior Officer Trainee (HR): A graduate in BBA/BBM/BBS or equivalent, with at least 60% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates. Postgraduate candidates are not allowed to apply.
- Junior Officer Trainee (F&A): Intermediate CA or CMA candidates can apply. Higher qualifications such as CA or CMA are not permitted.
- Assistant Trainee (F&A): A B.Com degree with 60% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates. Postgraduate degrees or equivalent higher qualifications are not allowed.

Selection Process for PGCIL Recruitment 2024
The selection process consists of written test/computer based test (CBT) and computer skill test (where applicable). The written test will have a total of 170 objective type questions, which includes technical knowledge and aptitude test (English, mathematical ability, general knowledge). Negative marking will also be applicable for wrong answers.
- Written Examination: Candidates will undergo a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
- Computer Skill Test: This applies specifically to Junior Officer Trainees (HR and F&A) and Assistant Trainees (F&A).
- Document Verification: Candidates will need to verify their documents.
- Medical Examination: A medical check-up will be conducted to ensure fitness.
Salary and Benefits for PGCIL Recruitment 2024
During the training period:
- For Diploma Trainee, Junior Officer Trainee (HR/F&A): The pay scale is ₹24,000 (with basic pay and perks). After successful completion, candidates will be placed at ₹25,000 with an annual CTC of ₹11.9 lakhs.
- For Assistant Trainee (F&A): The pay scale is ₹21,500 initially, with a post-training basic pay of ₹22,000. The annual CTC will be around ₹10.3 lakhs.
