Punjab Constable Recruitment Important Information :-

Punjab Police has released a notification for the recruitment of constables in District Police and Armed Police. A total of 1746 vacancies have been announced for the constable positions, with the application process commencing from March 14, 2024. Candidates can apply until April 4, 2024. Punjab Constable Recruitment Age Limit :-

Punjab Police requires the age of the candidates applying for the recruitment of constable posts in District Police and Armed Police to be minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years. The age of the candidates will be calculated as on January 1, 2024 and candidates belonging to reserved categories of Punjab state will get the benefit of relaxation as prescribed by the state government. Candidates from reserved categories from other states will have to apply in unreserved category.

Punjab Constable Recruitment Application Fee:-

Punjab Police has required the candidates applying for the recruitment of Constable posts in District Police and Armed Police to pay the application fee. In this, General category candidates will have to pay Rs 1150/-, Ex-Serviceman category candidates will have to pay Rs 500/-, and SC, ST, EWS category candidates will have to pay Rs 650/-. Candidates should pay the examination fee through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking fee mode only.

Punjab Constable Recruitment Selection Process :-

Punjab Police: Candidates applying for the recruitment of Constable posts in District Police and Armed Police will have to appear for Medical Exam, Physical Management Test, Computer Bed Exam and Physical Screening Test, along with this the candidate will have to get his/her documents verified. . After the candidate is selected, he will be given Rs 19,900/- per month.

Punjab Constable Recruitment Physical Qualification :-

Punjab Police has the following requirements for physical qualification for the candidates applying for the recruitment of Constable posts in District Police and Armed Police:-

Height - Should be up to 5 feet 7 inches for men and 5 feet 2 inches for women.

Running - Men will have to complete the 1600 meter race in 6 minutes 30 seconds, while women will have to complete the 800 meter race in 4 minutes 30 seconds.

Long Jump - Men will have to jump up to 3.80 meters and women will have to jump up to 3 meters.

Jump - Men will have to jump up to 1.10 meters and women will have to jump up to 0.95 meters.
