Railway Protection Force (RPF) is going to issue an official notification for the recruitment process of Constables and Sub Inspectors. A total of 4660 vacancies have been announced for Constable and Sub Inspector positions. The application process will commence on April 15, 2024. RPF Constable / Sub Inspector Recruitment Important Information :-

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has announced a total of 4660 vacancies for the positions of Constable and Sub Inspector, with 4208 posts for Constables and 452 posts for Sub Inspectors. The application process for this recruitment will begin on April 15, 2024, and candidates can apply until May 14, 2024. The age requirements for candidates vary according to the position; for Constables, candidates must be between 18 to 28 years old, and for Sub Inspectors, they should be between 20 to 28 years old. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website and check all relevant details related to the application. 

RPF Constable / Sub Inspector Recruitment Application Fee:-

Candidates applying for Railway Protection Force, RPF Constable and Sub Inspector posts have to pay the fee. Candidates who belong to General/OBC/EWS category have to pay Rs 500/- while SC/ST/PH category candidates have to pay Rs 250/-. All categories of women will also have to pay a fee of Rs 250/-. If candidates edit or modify their application, they will also have to pay a fee of Rs 250/-. Payment can be made only through credit card, debit card, SBI net banking or challan in any branch of State Bank of India.

RPF Constable / Sub Inspector Recruitment Educational Qualification :-

The educational qualification of the candidates applying for Railway Protection Force, RPF Constable and Sub Inspector posts is determined according to the post. For Constable post, the candidate must have passed class 10th/High School examination from any recognized board. On the contrary, for Sub Inspector post, a candidate must have a bachelor's degree in any stream from any recognized university.

RPF Constable / Sub Inspector Recruitment Salary :-

Candidates applying for the positions of Constable and Sub Inspector in the Railway Protection Force, RPF, will receive salaries according to their positions. Candidates selected for the Constable position will receive a salary of Rs. 21,700, while those selected for the Sub Inspector position will receive Rs. 34,400.

RPF Constable / Sub Inspector Selection Process :-

Candidates applying for Constable and Inspector posts in Railway Protection Force (RPF) will have to appear for a computer-based examination. Additionally, candidates will also have to face the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) examinations. Candidates will also have to get their documents verified.

    Next, they should navigate to the "Recruitment" section and click on the notifications for the positions of constables and inspectors.

    Afterward, candidates should click on the apply link.

  2. Railway RPF Step - 2

    If the candidate is already registered, they should log in using their email ID, password, and captcha code.

    If the candidate is not registered, they should create a new registration.

    For creating a new registration, the candidate needs to provide the following information and documents:-

    Mobile number (to be verified via OTP)
    Email ID (to be verified via OTP)
    Aadhaar number. If the candidate doesn't have an Aadhaar number, they should provide one of the following ID numbers and will need to show the original document later:-

      1. Voter ID card
      2. PAN card
      3. Passport
      4. Driving license
      5. School/college ID
      6. Employer ID (government/PSU/private)

    The candidate should also provide their educational details including board, roll number, and year of passing for the Matric (10th) examination.

    Additionally, the candidate should provide their disability certificate number if they have a benchmark disability.

  3. Railway RPF Step - 3

    Once registered, candidates can log in using their registration ID and password to fill out the application form. They should provide all necessary information including personal details, educational qualifications, and other relevant data.

    Candidates should upload scanned copies of their essential documents and required certificates.

    Afterwards, candidates should make the payment for the application fee and review their application for accuracy and completeness. Once satisfied, they should submit their application.

    After the application fee is submitted, candidates should keep a printout of the application for their records.
