Application Fee for Railway RRC CR Recruitment

Candidates applying for Railway RRC CR Apprentice Recruitment 2024 in Central Railway RRC CR have to pay the application fee. General, OBC and EWS category candidates will be charged Rs 100/- while SC, ST and female candidates will not be charged any fee. Age Limit for Railway RRC CR Recruitment

For the Railway RRC CR Apprentice Recruitment 2024 at Central Railway RRC CR, candidates must be at least 15 years old and no older than 24 years as of 15 July 2024. Age Relaxation:

  1. SC/ST candidates are granted a 5-year age relaxation, while OBC candidates receive a 3-year relaxation.

Educational Qualification for Railway RRC CR Recruitment

The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks. Also, the candidate must have a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or a Provisional Certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training.

Salary for Railway RRC CR Recruitment

For the Railway RRC CR Apprentice Recruitment 2024, Act Apprentices will be paid a stipend of up to Rs. 7000/- per month according to RBE No. 202/2019 dated 26/11/2019 for National or State Certificate holders. No hostel accommodation will be provided, and selected candidates will have to arrange their own accommodation during the training period as per the Apprentice Act 1961. Upon completion of training, they will be released.

Note:

  • The minimum stipend amount will increase by 10% during the second year of apprenticeship training.
  • The minimum stipend amount will increase by 15% during the third year of apprenticeship training.
  • For National or State Certificate holders, the training period already undergone in a recognized school or institution will be considered for determining the minimum payable rate of stipend.

Selection Process for Railway RRC CR Recruitment

1. Basis of Selection: Selection will be based on the merit list, which will be prepared based on the percentage of marks of all the candidates. The merit list will include the average of Matriculation (with minimum aggregate marks of 50%) and ITI marks.

2. Calculation of Marks:

  • Matriculation Marks: Marks from all subjects will be considered, not just any single subject or group.
  • ITI Marks: The average marks from all semesters will be considered, or marks from the Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT will be taken into account.

3. For Grading Boards: If a board uses the grade system, the percentage will be calculated using the midpoint of the range of grades.

4. Candidates having equivalent marks: If two candidates have equal marks, the older in age will be given preference. If the date of birth is also the same, the one who passed first will be given preference.

5. Final Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared cluster/unit, trade and community wise, and candidates will be listed on the basis of their percentage.

6. Verification: The final selected candidates will have to produce their original certificates and medical certificate for verification.

  7. Submit the form and take a printout of it.
