The Rajasthan High Court has recently announced the District Judge Recruitment 2024 for various positions across the state. Age Limit for Rajasthan High Court District Judge 2024

The Rajasthan High Court has set the age limits for applicants to the District Judge recruitment: Candidates must be at least 35 years old and not more than 45 years old as of January 1, 2025. Additionally, candidates will have a relaxation of up to 5 years in the age limit. Furthermore, the following categories are eligible for additional age relaxation:

(i) Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (NCL), More Backward Classes (NCL), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and women will receive a 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit.

(ii) Persons with Benchmark Disabilities will also receive a 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit. This relaxation is in addition to the age concessions already provided under the Rajasthan Judicial Service Rules, 2010.

Rajasthan High Court District Judge Vacancy 

The Rajasthan High Court has issued the notification for the District Judge post, but the exact number of vacancies will be disclosed shortly. For the year 2023-2024, there are a total of 95 vacancies, with a distribution across various categories as follows:

Eligibility 

To apply for the District Judge position, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Candidates must have Indian citizenship.
• Candidates must have LLB degree from a recognized university.
  
• Candidates must have knowledge of Hindi in Deva Nagari script and Rajasthani language.
  
• Candidates must have at least seven years of experience in advocacy as on 9th August 2024.
  

Application Fee 

The Rajasthan High Court has announced a recruitment for the position of District Judge. Applicants for this recruitment need to pay an application fee. The fee for candidates from General/OBC/Other State categories is Rs.1,500/-, while candidates from OBC-NCL/MBC-NCL/EWS categories need to pay Rs.1,250/-. Candidates from SC/ST categories are required to pay Rs.100/-.
