RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024: Everything You Need to Know

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced Grade B recruitment for 2024. As per the notification released on 19th July 2024, RBI will recruit Grade B posts for a total of 94 vacancies. The online application process will start on 25th July 2024 and candidates will be able to apply online till 16th August 2024. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website. Important Dates 

Application Fee

Candidates applying for Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Grade B Recruitment 2024 will have to pay an application fee. The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates will be Rs.850/-, while SC and ST category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs.100/-. Candidates belonging to the PWD category will also have to pay an application fee of Rs.100/-. The examination fee can be paid only through debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, and other fee payment methods.

Age Limit

Candidates applying for Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Grade B Recruitment 2024 must be a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 30 years of age. The age of the candidates will be calculated as on 1st July 2024, and age relaxation will also be provided as per state government rules.

Vacancy Details

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced a total of 94 vacancies under Grade B Recruitment for 2024. These include separate posts for Officer Grade B General, Officer Grade B DSPR, and Officer Grade B DSIM, details of which are given in the table below.

Educational Qualifications

• Officers Grade B General: A graduation degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) or a post-graduate degree with 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) is required.
• Officers Grade B DEPR: A Master’s Degree in Economics, Econometrics, Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics, Integrated Economics Course, or Finance with 55% marks is required.
• Officers Grade B DSIM: A Master’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, or Applied Statistics & Informatics with 55% marks is required.

Salary and Benefits

The starting basic pay for RBI Grade B officers is ₹55,200 per month, with gross emoluments (excluding HRA) approximately ₹1,16,914. The HRA is 15% of the basic pay if accommodation is not provided by the Bank.
