Railway Recruitment Cell, Northern Railway (RRC NR), New Delhi has released the official notification for various Act Apprentice posts, announcing a total of 4096 vacancies. The online application process for this recruitment will start from 16 August 2024 and candidates can apply till 16 September 2024. Candidates willing to apply can apply by visiting the official website. This is a great opportunity for those candidates who have passed 10th class and are looking for a government job in the railway sector. Application Fee

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹100/-
• SC / ST / PH / Female (All Categories): No Fee
• Candidates can pay the examination fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or any other online payment method.

Age Criteria

• Minimum Age: 15 Years (as of 16th September 2024)
• Maximum Age: 24 Years (as of 16th September 2024)
• Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government rules.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have passed SSC/Matriculation/10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board. Also, candidate must have passed ITI in relevant trade recognized by NCVT/SCVT. Note: Candidate must have the prescribed qualification as on the date of issue of notification. Applicants whose SSC/Matriculation/10th & ITI results have not been declared yet on the date of notification are not eligible to apply.

Nationality/Citizenship

A candidate must be either:

• A Citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal, or
• A subject of Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 intending to permanently settle in India, or
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India.
