Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have passed SSC/Matriculation/10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board. Also, candidate must have passed ITI in relevant trade recognized by NCVT/SCVT. Note: Candidate must have the prescribed qualification as on the date of issue of notification. Applicants whose SSC/Matriculation/10th & ITI results have not been declared yet on the date of notification are not eligible to apply.
Nationality/Citizenship
A candidate must be either:
- A Citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 intending to permanently settle in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India.
