Important Information SECR Nagpur Railway Recruitment :-

South East Central Railway, Nagpur (SECR) has released notifications on the official SECR website for the recruitment of various apprentice positions. SECR has announced 861 vacancies for apprentice and other positions, with the online application process commencing from April 10, 2024, and candidates can apply until May 9, 2024. No application fee will be charged from applicants. Those interested in applying for apprentice positions can visit the official website to apply online.

Age Limit SECR Nagpur Railway Recruitment :-

Candidates applying for various apprentice positions in South East Central Railway, Nagpur (SECR) must be aged between a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 24 years. Age calculation for candidates will be based on April 10, 2024, and candidates from the OBC category will have a relaxation of 3 years, SC/ST candidates will have a relaxation of 5 years, and candidates from the Divyang and ex-servicemen categories will have a relaxation of up to 10 years in age.

Educational Qualification SECR Nagpur Railway Recruitment :-

Candidates must have passed Matriculation or equivalent with at least 50% marks while applying for various Apprentice posts in South East Central Railway, Nagpur (SECR) and applicants must have passed National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or National Vocational Training. It is necessary to have a National Trade Certificate (NTC) or Temporary Certificate in the trade declared by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT). They have to fill their 10th and ITI marks in the eligibility section of the portal; Otherwise, their application will be automatically rejected. There is no need to fill any higher qualification.

Selection Process SECR Nagpur Railway Recruitment :-

Candidates will be assessed on the basis of merit list based on Matriculation (minimum 50%) and ITI marks. For candidates of some boards, the marks will be normalized by South East Central Railway, Nagpur Division. Average calculation will be applied after obtaining the average marks in all subjects, with a maximum of 100 marks in each subject. In case of a tie, preference will be given to the candidate who is older or who has passed the matriculation examination first. Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo medical examination. Every applicant will receive a registration number during the online application, which should be kept safe for future stages of the recruitment process.

Training & Salary SECR Nagpur Railway Recruitment :-

Candidates applying for the recruitment of various Apprentice posts in South East Central Railway, Nagpur (SECR) will be considered eligible for stipend, who are undergoing training as per the prescribed rates. The pay rate for ITI course is Rs 7700/-, and for ITI fee is Rs 8050/- for 1 year. The duration of training will be only 1 year.
