SECR Raipur Act Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Apply for 1644 ITI Trade Posts

South East Central Railway (SECR), Raipur Division, has released a notification for the engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act-1961 and Apprenticeship Rules-1962 for the year 2026. A total of 1644 vacancies are available across various designated trades in Raipur Division and Wagon Repair Shop, Raipur.

• Application Start Date: 05 May 2026
• Application Last Date: 04 June 2026 (till 23:59 hrs)

Vacancy Details:

A total of 1644 Act Apprentice posts are to be filled. The vacancies are distributed as follows:

• DRM Office, Raipur Division: 1363 Posts
• Wagon Repair Shop, Raipur: 281 Posts

Trade-wise Vacancies (Combined for both units):

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% (aggregate) marks.
• Technical Qualification: Must have passed an I.T.I Course in the relevant trade from a Recognized Institution. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination or whose results are awaited are not eligible.

Age Limit (as on 05.05.2026):

• Minimum Age: 15 years
• Maximum Age: 24 years
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST candidates: 05 years
  • OBC candidates: 03 years
  • Ex-Servicemen and PwBD candidates: 10 years

Selection Process:

The selection will be based on a merit list prepared by taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination, giving equal weightage to both.

Stipend & Training:

Selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of 1 year for each trade. They will be paid a stipend during their training as per the rules of the Railway Board. Training will be terminated upon completion of the apprenticeship.
