Important Information for SSC CGL Recruitment :-

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the CPO SI notification for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination, Recruitment 2024. The application process for this recruitment will start from 24 June 2024 and will run till 27 July 2024. A total of 17,727 vacancies have been announced, which include posts in various central departments of Group B and Group C. This exam will be conducted in September or October 2024. Age Limit for SSC CGL Recruitment :-

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the minimum age limit of 18 years and maximum age limit of 32 years for the candidates applying for the Combined Graduate Level CGL Exam, Recruitment 2024. The age will be calculated as on 1st August 2024, and the age of the candidates is specifically determined according to the post. Application Fee for SSC CGL Recruitment :- 

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has made provision for the examination fee for the candidates applying for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination, Recruitment 2024. General, OBC and EWS category candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.100/-, while female candidates, SC, ST, PWD and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) category candidates will not have to pay any kind of fee. Candidates can deposit their examination fee through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa/Mastercard/Maestro/Rupay Debit Card till 25-07-2024 (23:00 hrs). Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Educational Qualification for SSC CGL Recruitment :- 

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has outlined the eligibility criteria for candidates applying for various posts in the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2024 as follows :-

  • Junior Statistical Officer - Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized university or institute. Additionally, they must have scored at least 60% marks in Mathematics in their 12th standard or should have studied Statistics as a subject at the graduation level.
  • Statistical Investigator Grade-II - Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized university or institute. They must have studied Statistics as a subject in all three years or six semesters of their graduation course.
  • Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) - Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute. In addition, they must have a minimum of one year of research experience in a recognized university or research institution, and a degree in Law or Human Rights from a recognized university.
  • All Other Posts - For all other posts, candidates should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Equivalent Educational Qualifications - Candidates with equivalent educational qualifications must produce an equivalence certificate during document verification. The final decision will be made by the concerned user department/appointing authority.

Salary for SSC CGL Recruitment :- 

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the salary for the candidates applying for Combined Graduate Level CGL Examination, Recruitment 2024 as per the following Levels as per Department (B) and (C) of the pay posts:-

  • Candidates applying for SSC Recruitment 2024 will get salary ranging from Rs.25,500/- to Rs.81,100/- as per Level-4.
  • Candidates applying for SSC Recruitment 2024 will get salary ranging from Rs.29,200/- to Rs.92,300/- as per Level-5.
  • Candidates applying for SSC Recruitment 2024 will get salary ranging from Rs.35,400/- to Rs.1,12,400/- as per Level-6.
  • Candidates applying for SSC Recruitment 2024 will get salary ranging from Rs.44,900/- to Rs.1,42,400/- as per Level – 7.

Selection Process for SSC CGL Recruitment :- 

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a two-stage process for the selection of candidates for the Combined Graduate Level CGL Examination, Recruitment 2024. The Tier-I exam will be computer-based (CBE), while the Tier-II exam will be conducted through paper.

How to apply

    Firstly candidates have to visit the official website https://ssc.gov.in/ then click on Login and Register.

    If candidates are already registered, they will have to login. To login, candidates will have to enter their registration number and password, then fill the captcha code and click on login.

    If the candidate has not done one-time registration, they will have to click on 'Register Now'. After this, candidates will have to register by filling in their personal details, password creation, additional information, declaration and candidate details.

    After completing the new registration process, the candidate will get an option of Combined Graduate Level Examination. After this, the option of 'Apply' link will appear, which has to be clicked. A new page will open, read the information given in it carefully and then click on 'Fill Form' given below.

    A form will open in front of the candidate in which personal details and educational details have to be filled. In this, the candidate's name, father's name, mother's name and other information have to be entered. After this, educational details have to be filled in which information about his school has to be entered. Then the candidate has to provide additional information as well.

    The candidate will then have to upload their photo and signature. If the candidate wishes to upload a live photo, they can do so or download the app by scanning the QR code and upload their photo.

    The candidate will then have to upload the signature, which should be as per the following size:

    • Allowed image size: 10 KB to 20 KB in JPEG/JPG format.
    • Image dimensions: Approximately 6.0 cm (width) X 2.0 cm (height).

    Applications with blurry or small signatures will be rejected. Signatures must be horizontally aligned.

    After this, the candidate has to click on 'I Agree' on the Declaration, fill the captcha code, and then submit the form. After submission, the candidate has to take a printout of the form and keep it safe with him.
