Important Information SSC JE Recruitment 2024 :-

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a total of 966 vacancies for Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) posts. The application process for Junior Engineering Recruitment will start from 28th March 2024 and candidates will be able to apply till 18th April 2024. Corrections can be made for this application form from 22 April to 23 April 2024. CBT exam will be conducted from June 4 to June 6, 2024. Age Limit SSC JE Recruitment 2024 :-

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has fixed the age limit of candidates applying for the recruitment of Junior Engineer posts up to 30 years. Candidates who fall in this range should not be born before 02-08-1994 and not after 01-08-2006. The maximum age limit for CPWD and CWC posts is 32 years. Candidates whose age falls in this range should not be born before 02-08-1992 and not after 01-08-2006. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be provided relaxation in maximum age limit as per the rules of the Central Government.

Application Fee SSC JE Recruitment 2024 :-

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will require candidates to pay an application fee for the recruitment of Junior Engineer posts, in which General/EWS/OBC category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100/-, while SC, ST, Application fee for disabled, and all female candidates will be waived. Candidates are required to pay their examination fee only through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI and other prescribed payment modes.

Educational Qualification SSC JE Recruitment 2024 :-

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recommended that candidates applying for Junior Engineer posts should have different qualifications for the following posts.

1. Frontier Roads Organization -

(i) Junior Engineer (Civil) – Candidate must have a degree or three-year diploma in civil engineering with two years' experience in planning, execution, or maintenance of civil engineering projects.

(ii) Junior Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical) - Candidate should have a degree or three-year diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with two years' experience in planning, execution, or maintenance of electrical or mechanical engineering projects.

2. Brahmaputra Board, Ministry of Jal Shakti -

(i) Junior Engineer (Civil) – Candidate should have three years Diploma in Civil Engineering.

3. Central Water Commission -

(i) Junior Engineer (Mechanical) – Candidate should have Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

(ii) Junior Engineer (Civil) – Candidate should have Graduation or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

4. Central Public Works Department (CPWD) -

(i) Junior Engineer (Electrical) – Candidate should have Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

(ii) Junior Engineer (Civil) – Candidate should have Diploma in Civil Engineering.

5. Central Water and Power Research Station -

(i) Junior Engineer (Electrical) – Candidate should have Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

(ii) Junior Engineer (Civil) – Candidate should have Diploma in Civil Engineering.

6.DGQA-Navy,R Ministry of Education -

(i) Junior Engineer (Mechanical) – Candidate should have Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with two years of experience in the relevant field.

(ii) Junior Engineer (Electrical) – Candidate must have Graduation or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with two years of experience in the relevant field.

7. Farakka Barrage Project, Ministry of Jal Shakti -

(i) Junior Engineer (Electrical) – Candidate should have Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

(ii) Junior Engineer (Civil) – Candidate should have Diploma in Civil Engineering.

8. Military Engineer Services (MES) –

(i) Junior Engineer (Civil) – Candidate should have a degree or diploma in civil engineering with two years of experience in planning, execution and maintenance of civil engineering projects.

(ii) Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) – Candidate should have a degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with two years of experience in planning, execution and maintenance of electrical or mechanical engineering projects.

9. National Technical Research Organization (NTRO) –

Junior Engineer (Civil) – Candidate should have Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Salary SSC JE Recruitment 2024 :-

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced that candidates applying for Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) posts will be given a monthly salary of Rs. 35400/- under Level-6 of the pay matrix as per 7th Central Pay Commission. Will range up to Rs 112400/-.

Selection Process SSC JE Recruitment 2024 :-

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will have to appear for CBT Paper - 1 and CBT Paper 2 examination for selection of candidates applying for Junior Engineer (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) posts, along with document verification and medical examination. .
