UPSSSC Stenographer Education Qualification 2024
As per the Uttar Pradesh Government Department Auxiliary Services Selection Rules, 2014 (as amended, First Amendment-2016), under Section 10 of Part-4 dated June 6, 2014, the following qualifications are mandatory for direct recruitment to the post of Stenographer in auxiliary services:
1. Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination recognized by the government.
2. Hindi Shorthand and Typing Proficiency:
- Hindi Shorthand: Minimum speed of 80 words per minute is mandatory in Hindi shorthand.
- Hindi Typing: Minimum speed of 25 words per minute is mandatory in Hindi shorthand.
3. Computer Certificate:
Must have any one of the following certifications:
- CCC Certificate from DOEACC/NIELIT.
- Computer course certificate conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education.
- Any other equivalent computer course recognized by the government.
Preferential Qualifications:
As per the Uttar Pradesh Government Department Auxiliary Services Selection Rules, 2014 (as amended, First Amendment-2016), under Section 11 of Part-4, the following preferential qualifications will be considered for the post of Stenographer:
- 1. Experience: Minimum 02 years of experience in government service.

The selection process for UPSSSC Stenographer Recruitment 2024 includes the following stages:
- Shortlisting based on UP PET-2022 scores.
- Written Exam.
- Skill Test (Stenography and Typing).
- Document Verification.
