UTET Level-I (UTET-I): For candidates aspiring to teach Classes I-V.
- Eligibility: 12th class pass with a Diploma in Education (D.El.Ed./ D.Ed./ B.T.C).
UTET Level-II (UTET-II): For candidates aspiring to teach Classes VI-VIII.
- Eligibility: Graduation pass with a Degree in Education (B.Ed./ B.El.Ed./ L.T./ B.A. B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed./ B.Com. B.Ed.).
