These schemes utilize ICT-enabled platforms to ensure a reliable, transparent, effective, and inclusive public service delivery system. The Mukhyamantri Aashrit Sewa Yojana specifically aims to support families with members who are specially-abled, widowed, or elderly.
Features of Mukhyamantri Aashrit Sewa Yojana
Many elderly individuals, differently-abled persons, and widowed women in the state find it difficult to travel for governmental tasks. Through this scheme, the government provides them with assistance at home. It’s essential to keep government documents updated regularly. For elderly, differently-abled, and widowed women who have no one else in their household to handle external tasks, the government sends service officers to their homes to update their documents.
To benefit from various government schemes, the public must keep several documents updated, such as:
- Adding new members to the ration card or ration list
- Birth registration
- Death registration
- Residence certificate
- Documents for the Palanhar Yojana
- Pension application and verification
To address these needs, the Rajasthan government decided to launch the Mukhyamantri Aashrit Sewa Yojana. Under this scheme, a government officer will visit the homes of needy elderly or single women to update their documents, ensuring they continue to receive benefits from government schemes smoothly.
