Objective of Uttarakhand Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana :-

The objective of Uttarakhand Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana is to make the skilled youth and migrant workers of the state self-reliant through self-employment. Various measures and assistance are provided under this scheme to help the youth and migrant workers of the state to start their own businesses.

The main objectives of the Chief Minister's Self-Employment Scheme are as follows :-

1. Providing self-employment opportunities -

  • To provide self-employment opportunities to the youth and migrant workers of the state to make them self-reliant. This will help in reducing the problem of unemployment.

2. Economic Empowerment -

  •  To empower the youth and migrant workers economically so that they can start their own businesses and contribute to the economic progress of the state.

3. Financial assistance at concessional rates -

  • To provide loans at concessional rates to the beneficiaries willing to self-employ. This will make it easier for them to get the capital required to start a business and reduce the financial burden.

4. Development of local industries -

  • Promoting small and medium scale industries so that new industries can be established in the state and new employment opportunities are created. This will be implemented equally in both rural and urban areas.

5. Rehabilitation of migrant workers -

  • Providing employment opportunities to migrant workers who have returned to the state so that they can live with their families and contribute to the development of the state.

6. Skill development and training -

  • Organizing training programs to upgrade the skills of youth and migrant workers. This will enable them to learn new skills and run their business in a better way.

7. Overall development -

  • Promoting various businesses and services for the overall development of the state. This will strengthen the economic condition of the state and various sections of the society will benefit.

8. Promotion of local products -

  • Promoting goods and services produced locally. This will not only encourage local industries but will also increase the demand for their products outside the state.

The objective of Uttarakhand Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana is to make the youth and migrant workers of the state self-reliant through self-employment and ensure their contribution to the economic progress of the state. Benefits available under Uttarakhand Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana:-

The objective of Uttarakhand Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana is to provide various benefits to the skilled youth and migrant workers of the state to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship. The following benefits are available under this scheme:

1. Financial assistance - 

  • Concessional loan - Loans are provided at concessional rates under the scheme, so that the beneficiaries can easily get the capital required to start their business. The interest rate on these loans is lower than the normal market rates.

The following assistance is provided to the beneficiaries under Uttarakhand Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana:-

1. Loan facility - Under the scheme, a loan of up to ₹ 5 lakh is provided to the beneficiaries. The interest rate of this loan is determined by the authorized banks.

2. Interest subsidy - Under the scheme, the beneficiaries are provided subsidy in the interest rate on the loan. For example, if the interest rate is 12%, then the government can provide subsidy up to 6% of the interest rate, which can reduce the interest rate to 6%.

3. Training facility - Under the scheme, the beneficiaries are also provided with the necessary training or skill development facility for their business.

4. Business consultation - The beneficiaries are provided with the necessary guidance and assistance for their business, so that their business can run successfully.

This assistance helps the residents of Uttarakhand to bring self-employment opportunities to them and helps them move towards self-reliance.

Eligibility under Uttarakhand Chief Minister Self-Employment Scheme :-

1. Permanent Resident - The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand.

2. Age - The minimum age to avail this scheme should be 18 years.

3. Family Eligibility - An applicant or a member of his family can avail the benefit under this scheme only once.

4. Educational Qualification -  No special educational qualification is required for this scheme.

5. Must not have availed other schemes earlier -

  • The applicant should not have availed any other self-employment scheme of the Government of India or the State Government in the last 5 years.

6. Provision for Special Categories -

  • Scheduled Castes/Tribes, Minorities, Other Backward Classes, Ex-Servicemen, Women and Persons with Disabilities fall under special categories and they have to submit a copy of the relevant certificates issued by the competent authorities along with the application.

7. First come first serve -

  • Beneficiaries will be selected on 'first come first serve' basis, if multiple applications are received for the same project, then the selection will be done keeping in mind the feasibility of the project.

The aim of this scheme is to provide self-employment opportunities to the youth and migrant workers of the state and make them self-reliant. This will strengthen the economic condition of the state and generate new employment opportunities.

Documents required to avail benefits under Uttarakhand Chief Minister Self Employment Scheme :-

1. Application Form – Filled and signed application form.

2. Aadhar Card – Aadhar Card of the applicant.

3. Residence Certificate – Permanent Resident Certificate of Uttarakhand.

4. Age Certificate:** Birth Certificate or 10th Marksheet to prove age.

5. Passport Size Photo – Recently taken passport size photo.

6. Project Report – Detailed report of the proposed project.

7. Bank Account Details – Bank Passbook or Account Details of the applicant.

8. Ration Card:** Ration Card (if applicable).

9. Educational Certificate – Certificate of Educational Qualification (if applicable).

10. Other Identification Proof – PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License etc.

11. Certificates of Special Categories – Relevant certificates for SC/ST, Minority, OBC, Ex-Servicemen, Women and Person with Disabilities.

12. Certificate issued by the Court – Any certificate issued by the court, if applicable.

Proper submission of these documents ensures that the applicant fulfils all the eligibility criteria under the scheme and will be considered eligible to receive the benefits.

    Then select the link of Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana on the main page.

    After selection, some information related to the scheme will be displayed.

    Select the link of registration and enter your details.

    The login details will be sent to the candidate on their mobile number and email.

    Login to apply for the scheme using the login details.

    After logging in, the applicant has to enter his other details.

    The candidate has to upload the required documents related to the scheme in the prescribed place.
